wonderful way of releasing the heaviness of the heart so you can embrace new events with an open, balance heart center.
After all, consider all the times you place your hand over your heart; whether in sorrow or in times of joy. The heart stores the emotions of your experiences, to be felt, processed and release, when you are ready. Unfortunately, there are times when a painful event is so intense that we may choose to bury it. After all, out of sight, out of mind... So we think.
Meanwhile, out hearts are still holding on to the emotions. the fear, anger, guilt. These heavy, dense emotions have no place to go but deeper into the body causing unknown havoc you physical and mental health.
Yet, there are ways to release these unexpressed emotions. One way is through meditation. The Heart Center meditation is a simple way to release stress, fear, anxiety during that can lead peace of mind as well as lighten your heart.
To begin, lay down with your hands crossed over your heart center, place your non-dominant hand over your dominant hand. Next, cross you ankles, in the same manner. Call in two angels to assist you. Image one angel standing at your left side, while the other stands on your right side. If angels are not part of your believe system, image a stream of energy on each side of you supporting you as you need it.
Now, follow your breath slow and steady, with each cleansing breath notice your dominant hand becoming heavy, weight down from all the negative emotions that your heart has held and is now releasing. With each cleansing breath allow your heart to purge and release.
When your hand begins to feel full simply raise your non-dominant hand to the side, palm facing up to receive grace and healing energy from the angel on your non dominate side. When your dominant hand feels full, hold it out to your dominant side and bring the non-dominant hand to your heart, delivering grace and healing energy to your heart and heart chakra. The angel on your dominant side will collect and cleanse the heavy emotional energy from your dominant hand, releasing your heart of the weight and ache of carrying it. Continue this process until your heart feels light and free, or until you gently fall asleep.
